Thank you for your interest in the Chess Team at St. Monica Catholic School! Students in grades 2nd to 8th grade are eligible to participate. Indy Chess is excited to coach and coordinate the chess team with the following schedule:

• Practices on Monday afternoons beginning January 13, 2025 until May 19, 2025 from 3:00pm to 4:15pm.  Practices will be canceled if school is not in session (e.g., MLK Day, spring break).

• Team Regional Qualifier Tournament in Indianapolis - Saturday, February 15

• Team State Championship Tournament in Martinsville - Saturday, March 22

The cost is $100 per semester to cover coaching and supplies.  Up to eight need-based scholarships are available for students on public like Medicaid, SNAP, HCV, etc. (just choose "pay offline" when checking out below).
