About The Event
Time to learn endgame techniques! Kids in 2nd-8th grade who know how the chess pieces move and want to begin to unveil the beauty of the game at the next level are welcome to sign up!
Coach Mike Chapuran (a USCF-certified chess coach and tournament director, and founder of Indy Chess) will provide a limit of 18 students all of the following:
Presentation of common endgame examples and strategies to win;
Worksheets to cement the understanding of the concepts;
Partner drills to practice the ideas;
Recreation breaks in the gym or playground with Scatterball, Knockout, and more;

Registration Fee
The fee is $70 (non-members) or $65 (members of Indy Chess) for the two-day camp 9a-12p Thurs-Fri. To play in the USCF-rated tournament on Friday afternoon 12p-3p, select the Camp+Tourney options that adds $17.50 and includes lunch.
